Dear Parents and Parishioners,

 

Mrs. Sheila Jones - Thank you to everyone for their prayers and good wishes.  Mrs. Jones is now out of hospital and recovering well at home.

Thank You – to Mrs. Paula Walker whose temporary contract has recently come to an end.  We are very grateful for all the love and support she has given to the School.  Many of our children have benefited from her help.

The Early Years Team  - would be very grateful for children’s garden benches and tables or leapfrog electronic books if you have any that are no longer wanted.  They would also be grateful for help with renovating some furniture in the Early Years outside area.  If you are able to help please contact Mrs. Sarah McCann, St. Matthew Class Teacher.

Cafod Fair Trade Stalls – if anyone could spare a little time to help out with these Stalls which are usually held after school on the last Thursday in the month, please contact Mrs. Jean Assirati on 01672 852228.

Diary Dates:

Tuesday 12th February – (1)  1.00 p.m.  Dance Rehearsal at Bradford-on Avon.  A separate letter has been sent. (2)  6.30 p.m.  Dance Festival at Bradford-on-Avon.  A separate letter has been sent.

Wednesday 13th February –  (1)  8.50 a.m.  Coffee with Acting Head for Parents from Years 3 and 4.  (2)  4.40 p.m.  High Five Netball.  A letter has been sent.

Thursday 14th February – 4.00 p.m.  Head’s Surgery.  Please contact the School Office if you would like to make an appointment to see Mrs. Goodall.

Friday 15th February – School Closed for Training Day.

Monday 25th February – 8.50 a.m.  Term 4 commences

Tuesday 26th February – (1)  6.00 p.m.  Governors’ Curriculum and Evaluation Meeting  (2)  7.00 p.m.  Governors’ Staffing Meeting.

Wednesday 27th February –  (1)  8.50 a.m.  Coffee with the Acting Head for Parents from Years 5 and 6.  (2)  No Infant French Club this week.

Thursday 28th February – 9.15 a.m.  The Author Eamonn Reilly will be visiting the School and talking to the children.

Friday 29th February – (1)  10.00 a.m.  Mothers’ Day Assembly.  (2)  3.15 p.m. PSA Daffodil and Cake Stall.

Saturday 1st March – Football Tournament at Dauntsey’s School.  Details to follow.

Monday 3rd March – (1)  Mrs. Jones to return to School.  (2)  7.00 p.m.  First Holy Communion Meeting.

Tuesday 4th March – 6.00 p.m.  Governors’ Admissions Meeting.

Wednesday 5th March – Football and Netball Tournament at St. Augustine’s.  Further details to follow.

Thursday 6th March – 2.30 p.m.  Reconciliation Service for Years 4, 5 and 6 in Church. Everyone welcome. There will be a Creche available. 

Friday 7th March – 3.30-5.30 p.m.  “Dance Till U Drop” at St. Augustine’s.  Further details to follow.

Tuesday 11th March – (1)  6.00 p.m.  Governors’ Finance Meeting.  (2)  7.00 p.m.  Governors’ Premises Meeting.

Wednesday 12th March – 4.40 p.m.  High Five Netball at Devizes School.  A separate letter will be sent.

Thursday 13th March – 7.30 p.m.  Governor Training.

Friday 21st March – Good Friday – School closed.

Monday 24th March – Easter Monday – School Closed

Friday 4th April – (1)  3.15 p.m.  Holidays commence.  (2)  5.00 p.m.  approximately – Years 5 and 6 return from Venture Week.

Monday 21st April – 8.50 a.m.  School re-opens for Term 5.
